Oak beams, fairy lights and rolling fields: why a barn might be the perfect setting for your day.
Barns are one of the most popular venue styles in the UK, and Cheshire has some of the most beautiful. Here is what to ask before you book.
Is it exclusive use?
Many barns host only one wedding a day, so the whole place is yours. Check whether that includes the grounds and the car park.
What is included?
Some barns are dry-hire blank canvases where you bring every supplier; others include catering, furniture and a coordinator. The cheaper hire fee is not always the cheaper wedding.
Heating and toilets
Traditional barns can be chilly in winter. Ask about heating and the number of toilets for your guest count.
